I've been commissioned to write and produce another project for the Smithsonian Institute's new interactive multimedia project "Dance A-Z".
Still tracking music/underscore and revisions for the indie film “Family Lies” currently in production.
Mixing has begun for veteran rocker Craig Pro's sophomore effort.
A Final round of guitars and then on to mix for Shiny, which is a collaborative art rock band consisting of myself, Scott Bennett (Brian Wilson), Matt Walker (Morrissey, Smashing Pumpkins, Most Dangerous Race, IRM), Brett Simons (Brian Wilson, Fiona Apple, Liz Phair) and Jim Dinou (Most Dangerous Race, IRM), all fantastic musicians, producers and composers themselves, in addition to being my very dear friends. I’m blessed to be able to work with some of the greatest musicians in the world…it’s like every day is Christmas...even though I’m Jewish!
I'm finishing up an EP of my own guitar instrumentals with a little help from Jim Dinou (synth/noise) and Robby Fulks drummer Gerald Dowd. This collection of songs are intentionally being recorded and mixed in "non studio" settings without the use of any of my high end recording gear...bedrooms, 4 tracks and laptops all the way!
